was that .4 mph actual speed or scale speed?

That's impressive for a model. I can't wait for the FP9's to come out, my local short line has an ex CN ex VIA FP9 painted for SP that I have been wanting to model.

Very nice and very good details too
do you get in project to do the black and grey CN's heavyweight cars?
I get two light weight coach and it's very great and,I was impress for the details quality,I should reserve mine now..lol

Good attention to detail as always. I have transformed m entire passenger fleet to this great brand. I can't wait to get my Canadian but I don't care how long it takes if you guys are puting this much care into your models. Quality is something that cannot be repaired after a product is built. it will forever stain a vision a person has. Ask Broadway Limited and Prescision craft about that.

It's nice to see a manufacturer recognize a need for improvement. Less than smooth drive at all speeds has kept me from repeat buying of lesser manufacturers.
Nice to see this kind of improvement. Question:
How is the top speed affected by the change of gear box and motor?

It will come down, obviously. But we had plenty of room to play with as our top speed was the TurboTrain's 170 MPH.
Our aim is 90-95 MPH, and we're still working on it to achieve that. FP9As were geared for 89 MPH and the LRC was geared for 100 MPH, so 90-95 MPH is a good compromise. If we need to bring down the top speed a bit more to keep the 0.4 MPH slow speed, we will.
