@acarroll1987 At the moment, it's about $150 US dollars (and it hasn't changed much since we did this).

@acarroll1987 The Chengdu Panda Research Base allows a certain number of people to hold pandas every morning (I think between 9AM and 11AM). When you arrive, just ask a staff member about panda holding and they will point you to the right exhibit (no reservations are required).

Indeed we did, but it was worth every yuan. We were very fortunate because we had a flight to catch right after this and we were the last people allowed to hold pandas that day. It was a magical experience and I highly recommend it!
