50 Cent is telling the truth you look up any old documentry, 50 Cent Is The Future was the first mixtape to ever put down freestyles as song format before people used to go over beats and just lay down 16 bars but he had courses and could of been legitment songs.

@eighib yes, but they only freestyled on them.. 50 was the first to create a whole new record over someone else's beat.. 50 shot ya for exemple, on the i shot ya ll cool j beat, he doesnt freestyle the song has a bridge, a hook 3 verses of sixteen bars, it's a regular rap record over a non-original instrumental and that format was indeed invented by him
