One of the lies told by Satan in the Garden of Eden was a subtle implication that Adam & Eve were not like God when in fact they were like God already. This was a direct attack against their faith in God, and because the Devil uses this same trick thousands of years later today, it is imperative for modern day Believers to learn from the events of The Fall

If one doesn't believe they are created in the image and likeness of God, one is not likely to believe he is capable of doing the things God instructs him/her to do, especially when it comes to subduing the enemy and performing supernatural feats like Jesus did.
