Yokota AB Tower Apartment, Fussa Japan (Tokyo)

There's been a lot of people looking for what base housing looks like here. This is a 3 br 2 bath tower apartment. Shot on my phone just as the movers were getting here. Square footage is about 1400sq ft. The ugly brown carpet is the "new stuff"... in a renovated tower.

As far as how much it costs, since it is on-base, it is free of charge. The flipside to that is that anyone living on base is not able to collect housing allowance. Depending on where you are stationed, and how cheap of a place you are willing to live in, some folks make some serious bank on the housing allowance. So I guess you could say it costs whatever housing allowance happens to be for you...

it is an apartment In Japan but it is on an American airbase so it is made for western style living.

I'd love to go back and see this base as an adult to see how it looks different from when i was a kid when my family stationed there for 6 years

A few questions, if I may! ^.^ I hate to sound doubtful, but is this really an apartment in Japan?  There are a lot of Western amenities, like the tub and shower being included in the rooms with the toilets, and also the washer and dryer! And my other question is: how much did it cost? <- That's the scariest question of all. lol

Thank you so much ! It has been really hard finding inside look of the Towers. Are washer/dryers in all of the Towers apts ?

Thank you for posting this. It has been hard to find info on housing. Do you know if the 2br has the same layout?
