@claudx13 If you have air conditioning and are mostly inside, I'd say it would be ok. If you are an outdoors type of person and want to take your dog out with you, probably not good for this dog. They LOVE winter and snow. But there are lots of wonderful breeds that do well in the heat :-)

Aww, what a beautiful video, thanks for sharing! He reminds me so much of my American Eskimo. She's a little smaller, but the way he acts with the snow, how much he responds to you (when you look at him, he comes to you, etc). Such an awesome breed.

Bravo! A wonderful video. Our boy Ike is our constant companion. I think he knows that we are a pack. We live in the city and his intelligent vigilance has already broken up one attempted car theft. We went to Denver not long ago and my wife left us on the street while she went to find some people we were trying to get together with. He howled because she was wandering away from the pack in this strange place. You should have seen the smiles his concern brought to the passersby...

Aw. He reminds me of my Eskie when he was a puppy.

Koda is adorable, and so happy in Alaska. We adopted our Eskie when he was almost 2, and we absolutely love him ! I admire your scrapbook, now if i can only figure out how to do something like that to record my dogs adventures.

Such a great video and the scenes are beautiful with Koda!
We just got an Eskie pup in December. He is so much fun
and learns tricks so fast. They are amazingly smart!
Now that is a happy well-loved dog. :)

Love our Eskie to pieces too and he goes everywhere we go, especially on hikes. His name is Shadow. We had a female Eskie previously and had to say goodbye after 17 yrs (a good life). You are blessed to have such beautiful countryside in Alaska. Happy New Year Koda!
