"Real life is brutal. If you're not willing to die for your beliefs, shut up." Indeed. One of the most pathetic things about the whole occupation (Which is really saying something, since there were a LOT of pathetic things about it) is the fact that, when their demands were announced, the VERY FIRST demand they announced was that they all be given full amnesty for their actions! What a bunch of gutless cowards.
as an nyu alum - i am embarrassed by these students. they should have been handcuffed and arrested on the scene. they are on private property at a private university, in direct violation of countless nyu policies... they had no right to be in that building at that point. its a disgrace really. i hope they are ejected from the university
Sadly this was not satire, the kids were being as honest as they could be... FYI their list of demands were on this video: watch?v=1DRdkLb3LcU&feature=re lated
Now satire on the event are these two videos: watch?v=6o20TXzotVw&feature=re lated and: watch?v=CHcsaAhs_rY&feature=re lated
And while both satire videos are extremely well done, in some ways they dont seem to be as good as the real actions of the kids.
