God, I love this soundtrack. All of Yuki kajiura's music is amazing.

One thing I've noticed though; she tends to do the music for shows that have dark, terrible twists in them where her ambiance really adds to the impact of said twist. Ex: Noir, .Hack//SIGN, Tsubasa Chronicles (especially), Pandora Hearts, Mai-HiME...and of course Madoka. They all have these dark twists and tones to them that only Yuki Kajiura can really compliment music-wise.

Wow, this soundtrack is amazing. It really encapsulates the dark tone of this series and the character themes really tell the story of the characters. I was thinking Madoka Magica had one of the best and soundtracks I've come across in anime, with the possible exception of Pandora Hearts, but then i find out the same composer did both of them :-)

@TheWeirdoClub It's not as popular as the anime you listed, but another anime she composed for, Petite Cossette, follows the same kind of dark, terrible twist theme like most of the anime she works with.

Also, Kara no Kyoukai. She also does great "things look bad, but they're about to get better" pieces.

@TheWeirdoClub Good point. I remember "Prove Yourself'" from Tsubasa just chilled me to the bone. Only Yuki could have composed the right music for that scene.
