@BigWtb Hi, thanks for the comment! The biggest we saw done there was the 62" in the frame at the end of the video, caught in a boat next to us. We also saw two others (both 61") caught while we were there. We're actually going back this weekend again to Sportsman's to see if we can get some "real" big ones! Thought I read that the state record was 70", but not sure that's right, could have sworn I've heard of people catching mid-70's there?

You are correct. The state record is a 70" fish. That was caught and kept before the slot limits were implemented. There have been many fish that break the state record that have been caught, however they do not meet the 75" requirement to be legal. So, until a 75"+ fish is caught. The state record will stand.
On that note, if I catch a 75"+ sturgeon, the state record will still stand as I will not kill a fish of that caliber.

@BigWtb Right on, good to know! We're really hopeful we can crack into the 60's now that the water temp is up a bit!
