.....It sounds like my crappy keyboard with the "saxophone" setting turned on... I don't understand why someone would pay for this, it has no musical value... And you can't read music, seriously?? That explains the extremely simple playing shown here... Gorgeous my butt

Yes, you can do semitones with this. This is a chromatic instrument. It has a 2 and 1/2 octave range in "Recorder" mode, and a 4 octave range in "Casio" mode (which is easier for trumpet or baritone players, like me, to use).
