  • First time I saw this is think. I miss the 80's/mid 90's SP. Newer stuff just isnt the same especially production-wise.

Not the best Skinny Puppy video [or song] but still decent

  • Fuck you bubbles. I agree Letter. (w/ the first half)

  • @Letter10music well, it is not the same time also. i like sp also, but it's time for some fresh sound

  • I just love this band and video.

  • even the flowers are ugly. clearly not a compliment. lol

  • @FUBUXGEAR No one in SP wanted to go in a real industrial direction anymore. Dwayne and cEvin wanted to go in a more IDM direction and Nivek wanted to go more metal, which gave birth to the Process, which I think would have been fine for the late 90's and the 2000's. It had a guitar oriented sounded but also still pretty industrial.

But I don't think Mark Walk should be in SP, I think a the better "industrial" line up, would have been, Nivek, cEvin, and Phil Western, or maybe even Spybey.

  • @FUBUXGEAR First I'd never call SP ebm, electro industrial at their most rhythmic, nowadays, their really is no real industrial. What passes as industrial is kinda sad. I really think the Process was their last industrial album, and that was the last album they had Dwayne on. Dwayne was their binding glue, imo. He wasn't using digital equipment, they replaced him with Mark Walk, ohGr's synth man, and they sound digital.

  • @VarlPlanet it sounding like it was recorded in a tin can was often intentional, in this case it was ment to sound mechanical, hence the name industrial, and with thrash and most rock originated heavy music the lack of distortion just makes the lack of complexity and fullness more obvious, and you notice more how groups of bands sound almost exactly alike
