@TheCuteAngels Hello girlie. I would recommend sticking to vocal warm ups and scales and progress accordingly. Also, find a few songs that you really love to sing that are not too hard and not too easy, master them and then try to sing them along with the vocal pitches that you master from practicing scales and warm ups. Don't be in a rush. Let it come naturally through practice. Lemme know how it goes.

Hey Trevis, thanks for the reply. I heard that practising singing improperly, such as putting too much strain on your voice ect. you won't improve...like trying to abdominal crunches improperly you wont get abs. Is this true? And how do I know if I am singing 'properly' to ensure I get the best out of my practice? Thanks :)

You are absolutely correct. One thing that you want to make sure you do is proper vocal warm ups(n strengthen ur vocals) before trying to belt out any tunes especially if it's a powerful tune. Your body will definitely tell you if you're straining. If it's uncomfortable and feel like you're straining, then you are. Not good. One good indicator of correct practice is when you are relaxed, no vocal tension, and proper breathing. Then you build upon those techniques. Let me know if this helps.

I guess you could say my voice range is medium. And it doesn't really matter the tempo of the song. I was just curious as to what songs you practice with. I assumed by the title of the video that your were going to discuss what songs are good to practice with and which songs you practice yourself. So I posted an assumption instead of an opinion in response to this video. Thanks for responding : )

@theayar My favorite covers are (for my voice type, each voice type has songs that best suite them) are: This Woman's Work (go to my website to get it for free for a limited time), Princes - Insatiable, Bonnie Raits "I Can't Make You Love Me", With or Without You - U2
