This is MilkMilk and her four adorable babies. She was taken into a shelter as a pregnant stray and was rescued two days before giving birth.

Q: How old are the kittens?
A: The kittens were born on Monday, August 13, 2012

Q: Why are there about 3 people watching #KittenCam and about 700 watching #CorgiCam?
A: If you are asking this question, it probably hasn't escaped your attention that there are obviously a lot more people chatting in the room and liking the feed than the "watching now" viewer number reflects. We are working with technical services to determine the cause of this glitch. But there are a lot of people watching the cam as we can see that #KittenCam has received about 100,000 views since going live. So thanks for watching, and ignore that number until it's fixed :)

Q: The cam is down, where did it go?
A: With the technical ambition of running a 24/7 livestream, technical glitches do pop up on occasion. We strive to keep all technical interruptions to under 30 minutes, so thank you for your patience.

Q: What happened to the puppies that were on Rescue Cam?
A: Due to unforeseen production limitations, we had to take that feed down. However, the puppies are doing wonderfully, and STILL AVAILABLE to ADOPT! Please go to www.barksoflove.org to adopt one!

Q: Where did these rescue kittens come from?
A: Rescue Group - Cats at the Studios - http://catsatthestudios.com

Q: What's up with MilkMilk's eye?
A: Veterinarians think it was wounded when MilkMilk was younger, and healed in that manner. It does not appear to be infected.

Q: Where were these kittens rescued from?
A: They were rescued from the Carson Animal Shelter in Carson, CA.

Q: What are their genders?
A: Finding out soon! Sometimes it's difficult to tell at such a young age.

Q: What are the kittens' names?
A: They don't have names yet.

Q: Can I adopt one of them?
A: YES!!! These kittens will be ready to be adopted out at 8 weeks old. Go to catsatthestudios.com for more info!

Q: Is there a vet to keep an eye on the kittens?
A: The kittens are under the constant supervision of trained professionals and a large network of fosters and rescues. We do not recommend that others support a litter of newborn kittens without proper training, access to a qualified veterinarian, experienced professional guidance, and veterinary knowledge.

Q: Where are the kittens?
A: In a loving home in Southern California, under the constant care of responsible, professional fosters.

Q: Why don't the kittens move? Are they okay?
A: Kittens spend most of their time eating and sleeping for the first few weeks. Around 4 weeks old, they will start to develop and learn how to use their tiny little legs. Which means we'll have to get a bigger box.

Q: Why do the fosters keep picking up the kittens and taking them out of the box?
A: After the first few weeks, the kittens need to be handled regularly to familiarize them with humans. This helps their general disposition, and is very important to insure a healthy relationship toward people.

Q: What if something goes wrong and a kitten gets sick?
A: The kittens all seem healthy and strong. The fosters are very experienced in raising and caring for cats and kittens, and can accurately address most health issues. Local veterinarians and other support from the rescue group are available 24/7 if an occurrence should arise where one would be necessary. They will go through two veterinary check-ups before going to their forever homes. All fosters are required to have a regular veterinarian before they can foster.
