I don't know about this. That does sound a lot like Candace Bergen's voice, but I'm still not sure. No other source says anything about it, not even Muppet Wiki. Something tells me Jon's right about it being Kevin Clash.

I like Cookie "be-bopping" to the opening music. Plus I think it's Candice Bergen doing the voice, notice how the lipsync is kind of off.

It's Candace Bergen's voice, too. But without the presence of Henson somewhere, that intangible magic is gone, even though Oz is (thankfully) performing Cookie. Peace.

Are you sure it's Candace Bergen because I thought it was Kevin Clash who was behind Murphy since I do hear a little bit of him.
