blues mandolin - Hard Times

Here's a little jugband inspired mandolin blues.
I lifted the lyrics from several songs about the depression; these songs seem to remain valid for decades and decades.

I'm playing a modern National mandolin; I'm also playing the background guitar in the key of G
Note : I'm tuned down a half step (suits my voice better + a reduction in string tension is easier on my old hands)
