The Long Ride Home

Here's a song penned by Tim Bruno, from Meadville, Pennsylvania. Tim is a great old friend and a great songwriter. I miss you, Tim!

I put the music to his great words. It's a test to se eif it fdits Tim's idea for the melody. I tend to keep things pretty simple, but for this song it's a good idea since it's about 12 verses long. I hear a pattern of three verses and an instrumental break throughout. I'd like it to have a hook of sorts, and maybe a chorus, but it also works without it.
