Since the user manual for this machine simply says 'follow the instructions on your descaler' and we often get questions on how to do this properly, Gail takes us through the process of descaling this superautomatic espresso machine.

@alexquero123 If you search for 'brew group' you'll see the maintenance videos we have available. I'm not sure we talk about lubricating the brew group, but the key is to put just a small amount on friction points generally only once per year or so -- too much is a bad thing. - Kat

@winelover215 Ha -- I see her in high def every day, what are you afraid of, baby?!? ;) You don't have to do that on these machines because of the way the waterworks are designed. Pulling it through the wand is sufficient. - Kat

J'ai une saeco" cafe grande" depuis 10 ans détartrage de 20mn sans éteindre la machine tous les 3 mois. Lavage du groupe toutes les semaines et graissage du groupe tous les 2 à 3 mois.
Elle fonctionne toujours!

Love your videos just the way they are. Any fancier, and you might loose that just right, home video, friendly feel. Makes it feel like you are just some good friends right down the street having fun while making some informative and entertaining videos.
