Sauna (Banya)

My 70 year old dad preparing the sauna for us; chopping wood from the forest , fetching water from the well, softening the birch twigs ready for the slapping session and a bowl of cold water for afterwards.

Your father is a fit man. It was really interesting to see the work that goes into getting the sauna ready. The sound is great on this video AK, you could fairly hear that fire crackling - and the twigs slap slapping away there. Looks like it takes years of you:)
