Original Skateboards Pro Aleix Gallimo threw together an edit of some of his favorite Maven 35 longboard clips featuring downhill skating in Europe the U.S. and beyond. To get some of the details out there Aleix also dubbed in some of the board specs. For those who are curious here's how the Maven 35 ( http://www.originalskateboards.com/lo... ) stacks up;

Increased hour-glass concave in the center for additional stiffness.

    Is it better to mount the trucks out to the furthest position (closest to the ends of the board) for downhill. Does this make it feel more stable at higher speeds?

    A wider wheelbase will definitely make the board more stable if you're looking to hit some high speeds. -Lindsay

    Hey! Well if you're into some deep concave to lock your feet in, the Maven definitely has the upper hand. But for a more affordable and directional style, the Arbiter is where it's at. Both will freeride very well!

    They're both good. It just depends. If you like dropped decks get the Maven.
