Opportunities for Spanish small business owners at Metro Tech

Metro Technology Centers has a Business Development Center (BDC) located at SW 59th & Walker. Metro Tech partners with the Oklahoma City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to offer assistance to businesses. The BDC has offices or incubators available for reduced rent ($150 a month) to those starting a new business. There are shared office equipment and services available to these tenants. Tenants are tax exempt for five years. The goal is to build economic development in Oklahoma City by helping new business owners succeed.

Metro Tech and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce also offer business courses through-out the year. Courses range from business accounting and marketing to obtaining your health sanitation certification for restaurants.
