The OEL&T is a sprawling HO scale traction layout built by Ken Spengler in the basement of his suburban Chicago home. Begun in 1969, it features an around-the-walls single track line with passing sidings connecting three towns.
This video features highlights of Ken's open-house on April 17, 2010. Several visitors brought their own models to operate on his fine layout. Yes, the models DO get their power from the overhead wire! Step in and join the fun!
