Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion: Quick Unlimited Money + Base Ring of Speed

READ THIS FIRST

This guide is a revision of my other "Riches and Power" 2-part series to make the text easier to read and understand. The "Power" part wasn't included, as that's pretty easy once you've got what amounts to unlimited cash whenever you want.

The new version here doesn't include the portion where you steal scrolls (which confused a lot of people), but instead shows a merchant who sells more than one of the same scroll, that's available as soon as you exit the sewers. Also new is a section on how to find the Speed _ Ring, worth an amazing 630 gold without having to go on a quest to find it, and it's dupe-able!

Credit goes to YouTuber "fubarfrank74" for suggesting Document of Purile Banter as a light-weight item to keep on hand that is really expensive, therefore perfect for duping.

Some items will never dupe, like quest items and Nirnroot.

For some bizarre reason, on just some characters, random things that would normally dupe on another character, just simply won't for some reason. If you're certain you've got the technique down properly and something won't dupe, just give up on it. One thing to try instead is to dupe the item using only 2 or 3 scrolls instead of 17 at a time. When filming this video (if you noticed the cut in the video when I went to go dupe the ring) the Base Ring of Speed would not dupe for some reason, so I randomly tried duping it with just a 3-scroll bunch, and it worked. From then on, it would dupe with the 17+ bunch. I'm not sure why that works, but it just does =P

@EvilTeddyBearLaughs - Nope, it works on both consoles and hasn't been patched.. you're leaving out a step somewhere =)  It matters what you dupe, though.. try something else.
