i just ordered this car in the dark blue - it gets delivered last week of April.
i looked at the 335 and a used 911 - this car has the full package in my opinion - I like the soft-top over the hard top and the lines on this car blow away the 335 - I can't wait to get it on the road...
There are so few S5' Cab's on the road and that is also a nice plus...

As an owner of this identical car I can tell you it is insanely fast! My buddy has a Aston Martin Vantage and says the pickup of my car rivals it.

I took delivery on this car right after Christmas in the same color Sprint Blue Pearl Effect. I am getting alot of comments on it and people like it. I can't wait till April or so to use the top down since I live in Connecticut. I sold my 2004 A4 cabriolet and alot of cash to buy this car. The only thing I liked about my A4 better is it a smaller car. My S5 is pretty big for a convertible however everyone tells me I made one of the best choices in the world for a convertible. Time will tell!

@ 4:30 he is talking about audi copying BMW :) . BMW has more technology in their 2007 335i than this. For S5's price i'll have a 335i anywhere anyday anytime :)

Soft tops are lighter and help the performance of the car, especially in the S5. They also provide a couple more cubic feet/few more liters or cargo space in the trunk.

The E-Class convt looks like a chick's car.
The 3-Series is as common as a Honda Accord in Southern California.
The S5 is *the* car of the moment for me. ...and I like that it's one of the few cars w/ a soft top - different look, less weight & more trunk space. Me likes.
