Too many are not heading the warnings to be watchful and are fighting against the truth see the following scriptures.

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and [by] our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Jesus said in Luke 21 "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and [so] that day come upon you unawares.

For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

WATCH ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21: 34-36

Finally in short is Jesus warnings to the churches found in Revelation. To Philadelphia He says,

"I will keep you from the hour of temptation" Revelation 3:10

Too Sardis (Dead Church) That's most denominational INSTITUTIONS today. Jesus says, and note the theme of Watching. We will have allot more to say on this shortly.

"BE WATCHFUL, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die...Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou SHALT NOT WATCH, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Revelation 3:2-3

To the church of Thyatira (Corrupt Church) We have more than a few. This church unless it repents is going into the Great Tribulation as is Sardis and Laodiceans. People that's most professing Christians today. They are not watchful!

Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into Great Tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
Note the adultery: That is teaching God's people to pray to anyone or anything OTHER than God is spiritual adultery. THERE IS NO OTHER MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND man THAN JESUS CHRIST.

For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5
