@4dresdner Well, I'll explain since the ONLY experience you have with a firearm is playing Call of Duty...
If you listen to what's around my brother while he's shooting the suppressed AKS-74U, there are people shooting pistols and other rifles WITHOUT suppressors... Since you've never shot a REAL gun, you don't understand how LOUD they are without a suppressor.....
So next time, why don't you think about what you say before you say it... Thanks...

@HalfLife2Beta You spelled it out yourself. A 5.56 suppressor with smaller bullets going through it does not hurt it.

@4dresdner You obviously have never shot a suppressed AK47 before. They aren't very quiet, and the other guns around are still un suppressed as well. Go back to playing Battlefield and COD.

you want to fire a good AK that is suppressed, go to Cuba and ask them if you can shoot one their AKMs.... Their special forces use the AKMSL which is an AKMS with a Silencer and a red-dot.

@DarkgaryKnight0909 - Ummm, yes, you do. Enough sound escapes through the gas system and out the ejection port to seriously damage your hearing - even if you are firing a suppressed weapon. The exception might be subsonic ammunition that probably won't cycle the bolt on a gas system as beefy as the one on the AK family of rifles. Even then, I would wear hearing protection. Why put yourself at risk. The deaf idiot is not the tougher guy. He is just deaf.

@Quinnstafer I have about $1100 in mine. But good luck finding one under $1300 nowadays.... They're getting pricey!!
I've shot mine effectively out to 300 yards and was hitting man sized targets nicely. I love my Krink!

@k4r4kuzu It wasn't mine. But it's a Gemtech HALO. I don't know what they go for, but you can look them up. It's just a regular 5.56 suppressor with an AK-74 thread adapter.
