  • Seldom if ever do you hear a song that covers all the bases, this one does it all, I grew up North of Cincy. in a little place called London, it takes me back there every time I hear it, I've listened to music a whole bunch throughout my life and it's just one of those songs you never get tired of hearing. It seems like Herb was working his way towards this song all his life. Thanks so much/ Dan Gibson

  • @earlybirddan Great memory for a great song, Dan. The Osborne Bros version I posted has been very popular but this one has just as much to offer in its own way.

  • Was playing a great cover of "Brand New Heartache" by Herb Pedersen and Chris Hillman, and look what I came across - my friend Phil in the UK!! Great post, Phil! Excellent "country" taste as usual! 5*****

  • Ha ha! I think Herb is one of the most underrated performers ever to record!

Thanks for the unexpected visit. Loretta!

  • I FELL IN LOVE IN CINCINNATI

HER LOVE WAS TRUE AND SHE TOLD ME SO

i GAVE HER RINGS AND ALL OF MY MONEY

WHERE SHE RAN OFF TO I'LL NEVER KNOW

I Love this Song, the Lyrics are great, and the performance is just as great. Good Job Herb

  • Yeah, Whenever I see a song with Herb's name on it (usually as harmony backing) I just know it's gonna sound good!

  • Sort of like bumping into a friend in the grocery store - That's one of the things I like about youtube! I do like this song, too!

  • You're right, they're in a deadheat, I listen to the Osborne Bros as often as Herb. You really know music, I go back to the early days of the first underground music station, KMPX, and KFAT etc. keep up the great music finds. Dan

  • You do know that he was in a band in his younger years? Google him.

  • In my opinion Sandman was his best album
