  • This younger adopted daughter is only speaking from her own experience; by the time JC adopted the younger set she had mellowed considerably, having spent all her malice and abuse on Christina and Christopher, Christopher died a wreck of a man and Christina did not tell nearly all of the abuse. Bob Thomas did not know her as a young dependent child, so he has no grounds to comment on Christina one way or the other. And John Springer is talking out of his ass.

  • @upcycle She was unable to have any herself; she just went to an adoption agnecy and applied for them (back then it was very easy to adopt esp if you were rich and famous) she adopted them because back then it was a show business accessory.

  • Some abusive parents, especially back then more so, believed they owned thier children and had the right to do what ever they wanted to them. What I would like to know is why she did not have any biological children. And how did she aquire the adopted children? And why she adopted those children.

  • Why didn't they interview Angela Lansbury? She said it was true. She said the "wire hangers" thing really happened.

  • i read online that Christina was very spoiled too, other Hollywood stars would say how Christina would throw awful tantrums. Mayby by the time Joan's last two kids came along she was a better parent to the last two girls, she was better with them and a more experienced parent.

  • Well, i too believe in Christina's story. No one would put themselves through decades of public scrutiny and backlash if none of what she claimed happened in her book didn't happen. I'm looking at her sister say nothing ever happened like Christina said did. And i don't believe a word of it. You can just tell she's lying.

  • bitch

  • @DEKMAN99 I believe Christina too. There's always a scapegoat in a dysfunctional family and Christina was just that. Joan was a sociopath who could act IMO. I'm certain that when noone was around Joan did and said aweful things to Christina and Christina just didn't know how to hide her anger in front of people. I'm looking at the dinner picture above and I would think that Christina was being deviant if I hadn't seen what happened to her previously...

  • @judyrose1957 I believe Christina ,Joan Crawford had to be evil bitch and a top A phony.

  • @MrWmJosephSmithIII Why do you ask? Are you The Attorney for Joan Crawford?
