@DefWish thats the problem, I am unable to enjoy the music because they are singing it in Boyband style, certainly not Redding or Wonder. You need to listen/hear their music again! I am allowed to have my opinion, and according to me, that boyband flavor has ruined the song. It should be kept where it belongs, it low quality bubble gum semi-music made for 12 year old girls.

@darthzinvader I'll hear a backstreet boys song if I play a backstreet boys song. Synthesized drums, bubblegum-pop lyrics, and an imitation of the classic R&B voice.
If you just mean his voice sounds like he's going for a Stevie Wonder or Otis Redding vibe, I say I see zero problem with it. It's a matter of taste.
And really? "how much did they pay you"? "Backdoor boys"? Can we just enjoy the music now?

IMO you should have chosen a song like "Angels" by Robbie Williams instead because this song is not about the passing of a loved one. I don't think many people have actually read and understood the lyrics of this song.
