Van Halen - Hot for Teacher

This is a smokin' hot track from Van Halen, and is Alex Van Halen's finest moment in drum history.
Most of what I've heard, though, is that the intro is what's most remembered, not the song. I edited the intro off to shorten the song and avoid a whole minute of me sitting there doing nothing, not to mention that I really am not a fan of learning the precise notation of a drum part. I don't need to play WHAT Alex played, just LIKE Alex played.
So I may eventually post the intro solo later, without the music, without being completely accurate, but it will definitely be tom rims and double kick just like Alex did it and so close you can't really tell.

@KovertlyDrummatik I bet I could teach it to you. Its fun and easy to play. But if its not what your into, learning a song the way its played by the artist, then don't let anyone tell you what you play isn't good enough. People suck, i have learned that in my old age. You can't please EVERYONE!
