The wooden presser is called Tostonera or Plantain Press.. you can find at Bed, Bath and Beyond, Amazon.com, Publix, Ethnic Markets (like mexican and/or carribbean food stores) The price is between $5 - $7, it varies in different stores.

people always say i like the way my mom makes them.no matter how they makes them as long its a haitian cusine,they always cum out tasty,and the food always look nasty on camera for some reason.

@hatiangirl My mom bought it at Publix Supermarket in the bread section near the produce. I assume that most Publix Supermarkets have a similar layout...otherwise I found some of Amazon. Just Google: Plantain Press
