Jason Whitlock speaks to Matt Lauer on April 13 after Don Imus was fired from CBS radio. He argued that there was an overreaction to Imus's statement and that Sharpton and Jackson are opportunists. "We are not victims here. Don Imus is insignificant. He does not control our destiny."

Whitlock received national attention for his 4/11/2007 Kansas City Star article, "Imus isn't the real bad guy." http://www.kansascity.com/182/story/66339.html

  • If a person called his daughter, wife, girlfriend, mother, aunt, grandmother or friend a jigaboo, nappy head WHORE over the airwaves for the entire world to hear I highly doubt he would be ignoring it. This guy is so childish its unbelievable. He is a lacky and an uncle tom.

  • This man is a walking contradiction. Today he wrote an article inferring Mike Shanahan benched Donovan McNabb because of racism. Then he add's, "I am not playing the race card" following up with a clarification that "race was not a factor" but he categorizes Shanahan as part of the "good ole boys network." Add to that Whitock's characterization of a white coach whom felt his black quarterback couldn't hold the football because of fried chicken grease. Jason has his cake and eats it.

  • I agree with this man

Two quick points and one recommendation then you can have the complete floor because I’m done.

Your focus is race/Jews not mine! You’re trying to be cerebral, but your focal point is narrow, and your loyalties twist your conclusions in spite of truth. Stop looking in the mirror for answers; broaden your circles, and good luck to you!

  • @Chaz770 LOL You are being too easily maniplated. "Whites" do not control the media. "People who are white" do, most of whom are Jewish and have no allegiance to goys. "Whites" do not run the country. Less than one percet of people who are white in this country do. Your prejudices and biases are being used to keep your mind closed. Let logic guide you.

Jason Whitlock is a logical man. If you can only see logic in terms of color you are a sad person indeed, bud sadly typical.

  • @tobiasrobbins72 Your view is naive and lacks historical context .Think about the real world you live in. Who runs the country, and who are the disenfranchised? Who controls the media? People like you it reminds me how far we still have to grow. Jason Whitlock is taking advantage of you, by giving what you want to here for personal gain. Open you heart, think, and then comment.

  • @cowardattack That is nonsense. How can you say whites "hate blacks for their color"? Sure, some do. As do some blacks hate others (not just whites) for thier color. To simplify things like that is pure ignorance.

  • @Chaz770 LOL there is a LOT more "pro-black, anti-white" dibble going on in mainstream media these days. Whitlock just preaches common sense.

  • Whitlock has done nor said anything new! He is just trying to be the new black guy who gets paid for the anti-black dibble that plays into the mainstream's hype machine

  • Acting like a victim weakens your position. He's right. Playing the race card always hurts you in the long run. I should know, I tried it a few times as a younger man.
