I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of women had checkups and became more familiar with looking for lumps during self-exams because of this episode. When Betty Ford went public about her breast cancer while she was First Lady, apparently the number of women going to their doctors to find out more increased dramatically. We forget that even as recently as the mid 70's, cancer of any knid just wasn not discussed.

Edith's Mona Lisa smile kills me!

Does anyone have the complete episode "Too Good Edith"?
-
Mike's reaction to Edith's bad news is the one thing I will always remember about it.
Edith: "dummy up"
