  • Hey Phill is that a Fender American Strat two-tone sunburst with maple fretboard?

  • @MrNostalgiaX It's a Jap Strat. It was the one that played nice when I picked it up in the store. What about you? What do you play?

  • see i have that buzzing noise but on about 12 different fret strings and its annoying is it worth taking back from were i got it to repair also i would of turned the truss rod but i dont think a les paul has one?

  • @xXJACKOWACKOXx2 I would. Sounds like worn frets or a bad setup. When it's setup correctly you'll find it so much easier to play without fighting your guitars issues.

  • would it help adjusting the truss rod? because I tried pressing harder but I could still hear a bit of that buzzing sound. please reply

  • @TheBloodysk8 Sure, if you're comfortable doing this, then yes it could help with the set up of your guitar. Personally, I have someone who does this all the time set mine up as I wouldn't want to shag mine up :) If you're not sure, get a professional to do it for you, might be well worth it - good luck.

  • "If your guitar is set up correctly," is a big fucking IF!

  • @SuperKillaG Hey there, sounds like your guitar could do with a setup. As you mentioned, you're not making the buzz, the guitar is.

The action is slightly too low and I would suggest you have a pro look at it so they can setup your guitar correctly. Mention to them that it buzzes on the 11th fret and they should be able to adjust the action (height of your strings from the neck) so the buzzing disappears.

    Hope this helps?

    Cheers

    Phill
