My music/video/spoken word magnum opus about the unexpected yet thoroughly natural acceleration of humanity toward an asymptote shaped like the Singularity. Performed live at Mindstates, Berkeley, California, May 2001.

  • @locolalo1364 The song is bolero, one of the greatest classics of all time. Shouldn't really be making it cheesy...

  • Before The Fall - Transhumanist Propaganda in Media

Awsome compilation video about Transhumanism / Robotics, set to "The Beginning Is The End" by the Smashing Pumpkins.

Check it out, like, comment, connect.

  • i saw a pen0r

  • @locolalo1364 Agreed, the video itself might have been informative, but transhumanist and singulatarian subjects have never been handled with the appropriate amount of passion and mystery that they deserve.

Ray kurzweil, in particular, has turned the singularity into something which seems quite a boring topic. I make videos on the topic too, and I make sure to keep as much distance between me and his editorial style as possible.

  • @DBogable this is not like religion at all.

  • @DBogable I thought that too when I first heard about it - but check out accelerating trends of technologies, websites like singularityhub etc and you'll get the gist pretty quickly that this actually has facts behind it...

  • The music and dramatic voice made it cheesy and difficult to take seriously.
