The people in question, Tibetans dont think of themselves as Chinese. China has no moral or legal claim on Tibet except what is based on illegal military occupation, the largest imperialist land grab carried out in Twentieth Century.

This video examines chinese claims on Tibet using historic facts. Yuan empire was a Mongol one not Chinese. In fact Kublai Khan invaded, defeated Chinese and occupied China. And historically Southern chinese and northern ones have not been the same. China itself as an entity is rather new.

Qing rule was a Manchu rule and their control over Tibet was rather notional. Sun Yat Sen talked of freeing China from Manchu Rule. Once Manchu empire dissolved, Tibet remained free..as free as the chinese.

And it is amazing that - chinese communists, that talk about peace, civilisation, sensitivity and culture all of which they lack. There are courageous exceptions; but most Chinese seem unfortunately a classic example of Orwellian automons.

Culture of Chinese rulers and their fascist behavior with Tibetians seems to be as monochromatic as that of Hongkong produced violent kung fu movies. Claiming land and sovereignity over other nations is an imperialist act and exercising soverignity is clearly occupation.

For truthful information on Tibet, as different from chinese propoganda lies, visit http://www.friendsoftibet.org, http://www.savetibet.org.

Current borders of some of the nations shown in the maps are not accurate.

(Below are extremely distressing pictures of dead Tibetians shot by Chinese. Viewer Discretion advised for viewing the site below

SOME PLAIN TALK TO XINHUA AND CCTV, WORLD'S LARGEST BROADCASTER OF DOCTORED NEWS AND LIES:

1. If there is a power that wants to block information, then we should assume this power is bad.

2. If this power actually blocked the information, then this power should be assumed to be worse.

3. If the power which blocked information now publishes only one-sided information, then we should assume this information is false.

4. For all untrue information, the power which blocks information should be held most responsible.

5. The power which blocks information has no credibility to judge related information that flows around.

6. Information blocking is the only reason for making the divide deeper and the situation worse, since people in different positions are all talking from their own perspectives, and cannot be verified.

7. Ultra-nationalism is an emotion, not reason; therefore censorship is a bed for such emotion, fostering extreme Chinese Emotions/intolerance.

This extreme jingoist emotion helps chinese government, in retaining power.

9. Only sufficient information and sufficient expression can dissolve such extreme emotion. Trying to control so-called "dangerous speech" is the biggest and greatest danger.

10. Therefore, allowing the media to freely enter Tibet to report is a critical to help resolve the issue.

(Chinese hands being bloody, dont know if Censorship will be lifted any time soon)

  • At the time of its invasion by troops of the People's Liberation Army of China in 1949,

Tibet was an independent state in fact and law.

The military invasion constituted an aggression on a

sovereign state and a violation of international law.

Today's continued occupation of Tibet by China,

with the help of several hundred thousand troops,

represents an ongoing violation of international law

and of the fundamental rights of the

    Tibetan people to independence.

  • @iamlumin: did you not read my last sentence? the CCP authorities are paranoid because the WORLD IS OUT TO GET THE NATION: this cult of a movement has substantial foreign support. international law regarding sovereignty is on OUR side!

  • @fdoca you can't even spell Tibet, and you aren't even Tibetan, so who are you to speak for us?

  • @bharatamata you rocked it bro!!!

  • Tibet was never recognised by any foreign nation during its de-facto government days, it paid taxes to the Ming, Qing dynasties. All recorded, maps of map originating from around the world, clearly show Tibet as part of the Yuan, Ming, Qing dynasties, never at any point in history a separate state. Tibet is part of China recongised internationally, so all this BS about independence should stop, the west see the issues / region through a tiny window.

  • All foreigners have no say on any affair what so ever that affects china, to all anglo/ Caucasian people, pack up go back to europe

  • tibet was annexed to ensure it cannot be a western pawn against china. china knows tibet was never part of china.

  • In the end justifications are arbitrary; it is what is recognized by the majority of nations. Just as North and South America, Australia and New Zealand are all occupied lands but the international community currently recognises the sovereignty of the respective nations on those lands. Dare I mention UK. Anyway, humans can go on debating ad nauseum but it is all arbitrary. They who can push case well enough may be rewarded with nationhood.

  • the video has two very confusing terms togethet. first is prc which is estalished in 1949 and it claims tibet as its territories since that year. the answer to his q is very complicated because the territroeis of china are different per dinasty. which means every new group of leaders has the right to change their territory as they wish. no anwer to a very complicated q
