I love her overdubbed backup vocals on Carpenters records. Nothing on earth sounds like that.Its like taking Linda McCartney out of Wings vocals. Its just not the same.

Made to be enjoyed on a cold day, with a wood fire blazing and a glass of port to hand. This song is part of a cluster of tracks at the end of the Song For You album that together make up one of the best concept pieces ever. It really needs to be listened to in the context of the album.
