@tdavies456 I know its a contact sport, I played it for 10 years before somebody speared ME. So don't talk to me about complaining about contact. I was lucky I didn't break my neck.

You see him mouthing off at the referee after he's sent to the bin... Utterly pathetic.
As a fullback, you've got to know how to tackle. Lifting a player, turning him over and forcing him down is a spear. Even not forcing him is still classified as dangerous. And no, you can't really claim you didn't mean to, because you are still responsible for bringing the player down SAFELY as the tackler.
Byrne hasn't got anything to defend himself with there.
