In fact, her nonstop good fortune is so all-encompassing that she's convinced it's going to backfire any day. One afternoon her fears are realized as she discovers the source of her luck: a clandestine admirer, who has been secretly cleaning her house, paying her parking tickets, entering her in raffles, and otherwise trying to make her life a better place. In uncovering her benefactor, Margie has apparently found the ideal man. But what does she do with him?


The Charmed Life is a ten-minute musical. It premiered at the 2006 Actoberfest Ten Minute Play Competition (Secret Rose Theater, North Hollywood, CA), where it was a finalist in the competition and was included in the "best of" reprise performances. It's subsequently enjoyed U.S. performances in Pearl City, Hawaii, and Alden, Pennsylvania, and is slated for its fifth production in the 2009 Short, Sweet, and Song short musical festival in Sydney, Australia.
