(Sacramento) -- Under new legislation from Assemblymember Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael) homeowners, farmers and businesses could get paid for the excess electricity they produce with renewable energy sources. Assemblymember Huffman says AB 1920 will be an incentive to build more solar power supplies and insure consumers get paid by the utility companies for any excess power they produce and put back on the grid. Huffman, a member of the Assembly Committee on Utilities and Commerce, says several constituents from Sonoma and Marin counties suggested the reforms. Here's more on the Net Surplus Solar and Renewable Energy Act of 2007 in this Assembly Web Report.
I am amazed by the progress of the California state. it setting example for many countries cross the globe. Solar power is definitely be party of future equation in terms of energy needed to sustain progress. Another advantage is the grid companies will have to be fare to the people. The surplus energy produced by the customer of the grid company, they will have to sell market price or depending on the agreement made.

Should we still follow the law when cops, congressmen, senators, mayors, judges, presidents, vice presidents, etcc.. don't. When they are the biggest criminals of all? I think it's time to start doing what we want with our homes. It's our f-ing property.
