I don't think this man is being cruel to this horse. For the most part the reins were fairly slack as far as I can see. The horses themselves are fit and look healthy and they also look like they are enjoying themselves. It also depends on what your interpretation of cruel is. For example I would say that horse riding in itself is cruel in matter of principal and for the ethical welfare of the horse itself as a domestic animal. x x x

To me this is pure cruelty. The first man was tugging on the horses mouth and he didn't even praise his horse! These horses shouldnt have To go through this. I love watching trick riding, but not when the rider is cruel to the horse :L
