It's a original 1980 single 45 rpm of John Lennon (Just Like) Starting Over with B side Kiss Kiss Kiss of Yoko Ono by the label Geffen Records . This was the first single released from Double Fantasy, and the first new recording Lennon had released since 1975. It was chosen by Lennon not because he felt it was the best track on the album, but because it was the most appropriate following his five year absence from the recording industry. He referred to it during production as the "Elvis/Orbison" track, as he "tongue in cheek" impersonated their vocal styles. The uplifting bell at the intro of the song serves as the antidote to the morose bell sound which opens Lennon's first solo album, Lennon seeing it as his having come full circle. Please suscribe an leave me some comments!

  • Thanks for playing the entire song including the chime/bell at the beginning of the song. :)

  • @audrafaith20 It's a pleasure having done my friend. On the bell of chime John said that was a bell of wishes from Yoko and had taken a long time to get to that sound since the Plastic Ono Band LP of 1970 where bells rang mortuary on Mother. It's a great tune as he liked to call his Elvis / Orbison song! Gretings!

  • I'm just glad that John finally found love before he died. You can here it in this album.

  • @starboardbeat Basically we hear on the album are home stories, apparently happy, but there are times when I doubt all this supposed happiness, "I'm Losing You" for example, sometimes leaves me pensive, even though the inspiration was telephone miscommunication between John and Yoko. There are many theories about it, those of May Pang, for example, have made me extremely doubtful. But of course they are only suspicions and according to the album it was happiness time. Greetings!

  • I have that 45 too...! the end have like 15 seconds more... saying over and over, over and over and over...

  • @norfiel Yes, just turn up the volume on your speakers and will hear. Regards!

  • The Key of this song sounds higher on vinyl, or is it just me?

  • @beatlesraul Glad to know that just 14 years you're a Beatle fan, this is a good thing. I think John was a great artist and musician, one of the greatest musicians most comprehensive from my point of view. You can see part of my collection of John and Beatles in my videos. Greetings and thanks for subscribing!

  • i am 14 years old i and i want this 45 rpm i love john lennon the best ¡¡¡¡¡

  • @iempsa Hello my friend, thanks for tuning my channel. Indeed this is an original 45 rpm. At the end you can hear over and over and over, you must raise the volume on your PC or connect to a stereo and hear the end what you are quoting. In the inner groove can read the writing on the death wax "One World, One People" only the original Issues of 1980 have this feature. John and Yoko asked to write this as a universal symbol of union. Greetings!
