How To Rip PS1 Games for ePSXe

Shows how to rip your playstation 1 game discs for use with ePSXe. You can play the game directly from the disc too, but ripping them ensures that there is no temporary freezing of the game due to spin down/up of the CD drive. This is also useful if your disc is scratched and the CD drive has a hard time reading the disc. Ripping will ensure that all data is properly backed up and can play like it's new in an emulator

i tried it with a different disc and it said there's no disc in dvd rom

@sanbox242 You may be selecting the wrong drive using MagicDisc. Make sure you are selecting the same drive letter at the top of the MagicDisc Ripping window as the letter shown in My Computer that has your disc.

@TheIcepop101 I don't know, I've never tried, but you can try this method and see if you can. It won't play in ePSXe if that's what you are asking.

@badassgamez well it doesn't matter now. i've found another program that works just fine. and i'm sure that i selected the right drive. but i think the problem was that after a minute my computer stopped reading the disc. however, that only happened when i used magic disc. now i use LGISO creator. but so far i've only used it for ps2 games.

can i convert a data from the ps1 disc to a ePSXe and an eboot for my psp, oops sory wrong question, i mean do you know how to do it? i sold my beloved ps1 disc and i got a data torrent of a game(PS1) seems like its been copied from the disc to a data. and i was wondering, can this thing convert it to ePSXe or eboot format?

great tut thanks. i have a prob though. im trying to rip monster rancher 2 a.k.a monster farm 2, but the cue file is 1kb. i tried playing but its no good. will load the start message but then crashes. ive tried 1 other game i have and that works. the dist has some scratches but mothing major. any ideas of how to solve this prob. thanks
