I love swimming relays. I used to do a lot of them at club level and after that first changeover It's just beautiful chaos XD

I wonder if anyone whether from Japan or of Japanese descent is offended by what the American women are wearing. Those "kimonos" might be seen as a bit of a facial slap to me.

@wii1245 The judges do see it as poor sportsmanship. But I will say in all fairness to them that it wasn't so much poor sportsmanship from them, rather that they wanted to celebrate their win, which is understandable, but that they didn't wait until the other competitors had finished. If they had just waited ten seconds before jumping in the pool, they would have been the champions. The male commentator does say somewhere that the men did it at the previous championships when everyone was done.

@joelsttn Corect. The girls showed poor sportsmanship by jumping prematurely. Doing that does two things to other competitors: It is like rubbing it in their faces when they lost, and it is a sign of bragging.

@xiphocostal You're absolutely right. The judges frown on this. They see it as a sign of disrespect to fellow competitiors when you jump in before everyone has finished. I know that Lane 7 wasn't figuring in the medals, but still the judges don't like it.

@xiphocostal I doubt they will ever make that mistake again.

@joelsttn Every 10 year old at club level knows that . Pissweak.

That was fucking gold i looove it ,HA<HA<HA
The rules state that you cannot jump in the pool to celebrate while swimmers are completing their run. If they waited until everyone had finished, they would have kept their first place.
