I kick off my new series and discuss the principles behind being smart. In this episode, we talk about skepticism.

Leave your feedback below, but message me questions for the show with the title "SCIENCE QUESTION". Next episode, we will broadcast live, so stay tuned for the info!

How to be smart:
- Inquiry
- Discovery
- Analysis
- Innovation
- Collaboration

These principles make up common sense, logic, and science itself. It is impossible to be stupid if you are using these 5 things every day in your life.

  • I really like your series here. I subscribed. Thanks so much for your information. I wish everything on Youtube was of this quality :)

  • @xplorva Why thank you! Anything you'd like to see in the future?

  • why hasn't this guy made many any vids lately? hes realy interesting to listen to

  • @EdibleNoob I've been busy. Any ideas?

  • About your physic and/or faith healer, not all the time modern medicine works. In fact, I once saw on the news that this mentaly-discharged girl was dead for a few minutes, modern medice didnt help her, but security camera's caught a flash of white light, and the girl was instantly healed. It is believed that an Angel had saved her, I agree that physic healers aren't very much help, and that modern medicine is much more likely to work, but there is proof of God helping.

  • @Roxcpdoes3 Uh... no. Just no. Nobody has ever been instantly healed in that manner, sorry. Show me the footage and her medical reports and I will consider this, but until then, I will consider you making it up. What proof is there of God doing ANYTHING on earth? Anything - I don't care how trivial. I see none and I am guessing you can't either.

  • I found this very interesting and you were very well composed in your delivery.

So if I understood this correctly, it's basically considered scientifically impossible to prove or disprove anything?

  • @EthosLab Thanks, Etho. Scientifically, many things are "proven" or "disproven" (gravity is proven, for example), but only to the limit of our knowledge and methodology. The same is true of anything else, though. The Pythagorean theorem works for all the numbers we have tested so far, but we have no way of knowing if it will work for all the rest.

  • nothing is true, everything is permitted

  • The doesn't make any sense but I think your the db one no Efence

  • to find the truth we need imagination and skepticism both. watch?v=R7n71pm0K04 start at 3:21

  • @Tr33kos this what i needed to know thanks :)

  • th's is what i need to know thanks :)

  • @xBathypelagicx I study DNA and I can tell you that you are completely wrong. DNA isn't a code in the sense that you are thinking of, i.e. one of language. DNA is a code in the sense that an encoder and a decoder agree upon its meaning, but nothing more. DNA unzips and the corresponding nucelotides are attached by enzymes, which simply form amino acids. No intelligence needed because its all an autonomous process. Do some reading, please.

  • Wow I know how to be smart now thank you :]
