Israel will allow Iran to launch a nuclear weapon, it will be a small one regardless. In this instant Israel with over 200 nukes (since the 1960) in its arsenal will retaliate and turn the nation of Iran into a very large sheet of glass. The global community will see that Iran struck first...

There is no doubt that Soviet weapons falling into private hands has crated a very dangerous situation. Now why I believe Israel has a right to destroy Iran's nuclear weapons program is due to Iran constantly calling for Israel to be wiped off the map. I believe Iran isn't joking when making those threats. An example of this is if I am threatening to shoot you, then I go about trying to obtain a firearm, but you stop me from obtaining one.

I am sick by the fact that you want American soldiers to fight Iran so that Israeli interests can be achieved in the region. The IDF is more than capable of taking on Iran or simply taking out the nuclear facilities but no you'd rather see US soldiers dead rather than Jewish soldiers.

I recommend people to read Ilan Pappe's "The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine" its a very good book which I enjoyed a lot. Pappe is an Israeli historian who looks back in to the events of 1948.

I didn't state that I wanted American troops to fight Iran and die for Israeli interests. What I am stating is that Iran wants to develop weapons of mass destruction and they have to be stopped. Iran has repeatedly can for the destruction of America. If they develop nuclear weapons then those weapons can find their way into the hands of terrorist. To say this isn't a threat to America and Europe is insane.

For vistavision2,I would like to ask how you feel Syria stabilized Lebanon?If its through 15 years of civil war,then with all due respect,I don't think they wanted,or needed that 'stability'.The Bush doctrine need not apply only to the U.S, but some of it's greatest allies could implement these for self preservation. You have a valid point and I want to apologise for pointing accusations at you. However, even you cannot deny the fact that there a number of individual namely from the neoconservative movement who want the US to get involved. The collapse of the Soviet Union resulted in huge quantities of weapons getting in to private hands. As long as Israel has nuclear weapons Iran should not be expected to comply. Who is to say Israel is to be trusted? It is every nations right to peaceful atomic technology.

Back in the early 80's Saddam Hussein was developing nuclear weapons and was on the verge of having them. Israel bombed the facilities developing these weapons and the threat was ended. In 1991, our troops didn't have to face an Iraqi regime with nuclear weapons. Iran is calling for the destruction of America and is now seeking nuclear weapons. This is about survival. America is in very serious danger if Iran has nuclear weapons.
