@ScottF250 Yea.. tell me about it. I'm 16 almost 17, and I've had to drive my dad's truck ('85 Ranger 2WD 4cyl on 31s) to school for the past year because my truck's still in pieces. It's a '74 F100 Ranger XLT 4x4 that we got for $800, one owner.
I'll get the front axle back soon, then I get my 4" lift and back together it goes.. atleast driveable, not finished though.
I need to upload videos of my (minor) restoration, because I'm sure it would catch a lot of attention.

I liked it, then disliked it because my truck isn't that awesome. :(

@joebeckham Thanks. Believe me it was NOT awesome when I started with it. Only takes time, and Money ... I miss having this truck, but I'll build something else soon!

hey i have this year highboy also and was wondering how big of a job it is installing headers? did you have to lift the engine out?
fezlof 3 years ago
No, but you do have to drop the starter, get the header up in place (not mounted) then reinstall the starter, and finally install the header. Of course Different header brands might be different. I used Hedmans. I'll be making a set of fender exits in the spring.
