But if people don't want their performances commented on, why put them on youtube to be exposed to this "ridiculous habit"? Everyone has a right to express their opinions.
point being, i dont see why people spend their free time being tactless and providing unrequested criticism. i mean, i have my opinions, but it's such a ridiculous habit of people to think they have to prove superiority by posting blunt remarks on how poorly executed they feel a performance is.
This was the talent show of a week long musical theatre camp. It was the 5th night after a 12 hour rehearsal. The show was "Joseph and the Amazing technicolor dreamcoat". Olive's mom was a narrator (the narrator part was split by 5 people), and Olive's dad was Joseph. Also, Olive's mom was 17, Olive's dad was 16, and Olive was 14. I know that in the real world you do 8 shows a week, but I know they were all exhausted, and considering the circumstances, I think they pulled it off.
That's quite an ignorant thing to say...I mean I totally understand sticking up for your friends and all - but any critic is going to be a stranger, otherwise it's not impartial. No-one can comment objectively about people they know.
And I agree, Olive's mum is great, the dad isn't bad, Olive is ok but not always on pitch, and the piano is a bit fast.
congratulations to everyone who can try to point out flaws on a stranger's performance, its very big of you. ill never really understand that, but to each his own..
haha okay no emotion at all.

Olive wasn't very good. Her dad was pretty good. The mom was fantastic!
