West Virginia has a rich heritage, honest hard-working citizens, bountiful natural resources, breathtaking beauty, fantastic recreational and tourist attractions, yet since 1950, over 800,000 people have had to leave to find a job. It's time for true conservative leadership in West Virginia, not the same liberal progressive policies of higher taxes and more regulations that have been driving good businesses and citizens out of our State. We need to vote for the future of our children and grandchildren, not a political party.

  • Actually, Robert Byrd was the one who kept the coal mines going all these years.....he had more power than the governor. Arch Moore was a crook and this state was in terrible shape after he left!! Do more research on that moron!!

  • @chelv72 Its not about the governors, its about policy. One party has had control since 1932 and things have only gotten worse. Byrd got billions of dollars for projects, yet 800,000 people have had to leave to find work. Where are all the jobs? We need to have more business friendly policies like states around us have. I want my children to someday be able to live and work in West Virginia, not have to leave to find work like the rest of my family. We need a more balanced legislature.

  • Well, at Least West Virginia got 4G before Virginia -.-

  • Great job!!

  • No wonder how long has the Democrat Political machine ran the Government here.

Last time WV was booming and Miners Union was in full force Arch Moore was the Governor.

As long as Democrats control the State Capital it will be this way. All the big business are across our state line. If they come here they use Temps for minimum wage.
