  • They would let a BMW 325IX race so what's your point?

There are a lot of drivers in rally who have a lot of money in a car they can't drive. To see some of the RWD and FWD guys outdrive an AWD car is simply awesome.

  • @rrpeters not only that, they do it with style and aplomb and a sense of humor

  • I think he stalled it

  • assuming race times as the performance of a car is like saying an 80s subae doesn't have a world record in longevity. The 510 n this race is clearly an entertainment tactic like the 280z. Imagine if they let a bimmer 325 IX race....

  • Why did he stop? (I was spec marshaling, didnt see this but saw the damage after)

  • I was co-driving at NEFR this weekend and I had to do a transit behind Nile after this happened. It was as if we were driving with someone's headlights shining in our eyes the whole time.

  • Cook (2 wheel drive 1970 Datsun 510 - Group2!?!) overtaking Johnson (4 wheel drive - 2002 - Production GT). Cook takes 1 minute off of Johnson in 7.2 miles! Amazing!!! Go RWD!!!
