What a fabulous recording of a great work by a great orchestra conducted by one of the greatest conductors of the 20th. century. Geoge Szell was one of many great Brahms enterpreters and one who proves that a Brahms score is like clay: to be shaped and whose beauty only comes out in the hands of the master sculptor. Karajan, Toscanini, Boehm, Klemperer and Szell all great Brahms enterpreters. I need to listen to this again but I think this is the one is exceptional. Wonderful.

@andwideze You're very welcome. I couldn't stand looking around on Youtube for good interpretations and not being able to find any. It's good to know that I'm not the only one who appreciates a good performance!
